Bad Witchcraft - Part 3

"Uuugh... my everything..." Saffron groaned as she stumbled about. She was thankful for the fact it had been fairly trivial to get out of the drain, especially compared to the jar. The smell from the pipes below was overpowering and would have likely made her vomit had she been stuck there for much longer. Still, it had left her feeling ill on top of being dizzy and disoriented from her flight, and she found herself needed to sit down for a few minutes before she could regain her composure.

Looking at her surroundings, Saffron deducted she must have some how ended up in the kitchen sink. While the kitchen wasn't that far from where Regina had placed her, it was startling the distance she'd crossed when bouncing about out of control. This posed a couple of problems, as it meant Saffron had wound up further away from the various spellbooks and materials she'd need to undo her current predicament than before. Though that would matter little if she was unable to solve the more immediate problem of how to get OUT of the sink. The smooth metal made it impossible to scale the walls of the sink, and quick scan revealed that it was largely empty, save for a solitary glass and a few utensils lying at the bottom of the basin with her. Nothing that would give her enough of a boost to reach the top. It would seem that once again she was stuck, even if it wasn't quite so literal this time.

Saffron was undeterred though. She'd managed to get this far at least, and it was too soon to just give up now. After all, she still had magic at her disposal, as limited as it was. She'd just have to get creative is all. She racked her brain, trying to think of ways she could use the few spells at her disposal to escape. Light spells would be no help, neither would illusion or sound. Fire? Maybe if there had been more eating utensils in there with her she could use the fire to partially melt and reshape them into something she could use to climb out. What else was there... a wind spell? Yes, now that she thought about it she definitely knew a spell that could generate wind! She could use it to blow herself out of there!

Giddy with excitement, Saffron quietly chanted the spell to herself. There was no reason to hold back here, she'd just cast as strong a spell as she could and go flying out. She'd deal with the consequences afterwards! Feeling the magical energy build in her hands, Saffron pointed them down at the floor and exclaimed "ventus!"

There was a quick blast of wind, sending Saffron up into the air what felt like several feet. To Saffron's dismay, the reality was that it barely sent her up high enough to get halfway out of the sink. Reaching desperately for the edge, Saffron simply fell back down to the bottom with a soft bounce.

"POOP!" Saffron exclaimed as she landed lightly on her back. Far too lightly, she thought. She scrambled to her feet, pondering to herself. Thinking about it, she didn't so much drop after the wind spell boosted her up so much as she... drifted? Something was quite odd about that. It definitely warranted some investigation. Once again she chanted the wind spell to herself and released it with her hands pointed towards the floor.

"Ventus!" She exclaimed again. Once again, the strongest casting of the spell she could muster only managed to launch her about halfway out of the sink, but no higher. This time around, instead of flailing wildly to catch purchase on the distant edge, she simply attempted to maintain balance and observe how she fell. Sure enough, her descent was slower and lighter than normal. Almost like she had been floating slightly. She furrowed her brow. While being smaller certainly would have made her lighter than normal, it wouldn't make her this light. No, it had to be... yes, of course. It was because she was so round and inflated! She'd been rocketing around the room so quickly from the pressure that had built up when she was stuck in the jar she hadn't noticed, but she was definitely much lighter now and could almost drift on the wind. And yet... the wind spell was barely strong enough to lift her into the air as it was, despite her more buoyant state.

Saffron frowned. She realized what she'd have to do next, though she wasn't too happy about it. She wouldn't be able to increase the power of her wind magic as is, so that meant instead, in order to gain the lift necessary to escape she'd have to make herself bigger. It was an unpleasant thought, as she was already quite rotund as is. Saffron quickly reasoned that as big as she got, she'd be able to undo it in time. That was the goal after all! She placed both hands on her bloated sides and began to chant the spell again. Almost instantly she could feel herself growing. Her sides expanding further outward as she inflated bigger and bigger. Her dress riding up the curvature of her body further, the seams creaking and straining as it was stretched to its limit. She couldn't stop now. She calculated in her mind that she'd need to get much larger if she was going to successfully escape. She continued, her body swelling greater and greater. She began to feel the expansion begin to spread from her main body to her limbs. Her thighs becoming thicker and her arms rounder and fuller, prompting her to widen her stance to compensate for the added girth she was gaining everywhere. This would certainly make moving around a bit more difficult later, but right now she needed to focus on getting big enough to escape. Just a little more. Just enough to be light enough that the wind would-

"Ahh!" Saffron exclaimed, her concentration breaking and ending the spell as she felt her feet leave the ground. She instinctively began flailing her arms to try and catch her balance and fell forward, only instead of landing face first she simply spun and wobbled around in the air for a bit. It took her a moment to realize what was happening as she watched the base of the sink slowly move away from her.

"Oh... ohhhhh myyyy...." she exclaimed, realization dawning on her. She was floating! Apparently she had successfully inflated herself enough that she didn't even need the wind to launch herself into the air. She was actually flying on her own! It would have been exciting, had it not been so embarrassing. She couldn't exactly see beyond the mass of her breasts and girth of her body, but based on the the feel of the air against her bare skin, she could deduce her dress barely served as a shirt at this point. Saffron thanked the powers that be that nobody was home to see her in such a state. Lord knows Regina would never let her live it down. "Well, at least I'm not stuck in the sink anymore..." Saffron thought to herself.

She soon became aware of a light breeze coming from behind her. It was awkward, but she managed to somehow clumsily spin herself around in the air to see that the window above the sink had been left open. Immediately afterwards she was aware that said breeze was actually pushing her away from the sink.

"Ohhh no," Saffron groaned in realization. In her current state she was at the mercy of even the lightest breeze. A fact she'd intended to use with her magic to move about, but if the window was left open...

As if on cue, a stronger gust came blowing through. Not powerful enough to close the window, but enough to blow Saffron off her current heading.

"Noooooooo!" Saffron wailed as she was sent tumbling through the air at the wind's mercy.
